Description

The Electricity House is situated in the heart of Cape Town’s CBD and is bound by Bree Street to the South Easter. The design brief called for a high-quality contemporary building that reinforces the urban context without detracting from the historic surroundings. The building transforms from being a punctured mass into a framed box that turns the Hout and Bree Street corner without overshadowing the adjacent buildings but follows the City slay line. This building is a 5* Green Accredited building.
